How Awa In Kelet (awainkelet.org) collects, uses and protects your information. Effective October 8, 2026.
Information we collect
When you give through our Give page, you may choose to share your name and email address so we can send you a donation receipt. Both are optional, and you can give without them. We also keep a record of each gift: the amount, the fund you chose, and the date. Your card details are entered on Stripe's secure payment page. They are not entered on or stored by our website.
How we use your information
We use your name and email only to: • send you a receipt and thank-you for your gift • keep accurate records of the gifts our ministry receives • answer you if you contact us We do not use your information for advertising.
How we protect your information
Our website uses a secure, encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Donation records can only be seen by authorized Awa In Kelet team members who sign in to our private team portal. We only keep the information we need to run our ministry.
We do not sell your personal information
Awa In Kelet does not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone. We share it only when that is needed to process your gift or send your receipt (see below), or when the law requires it.
Stripe, our payment processor
All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. When you give, you are taken to Stripe's secure checkout, where you enter your card details. Stripe handles your payment information under its own privacy policy, which you can read at https://stripe.com/privacy. We receive confirmation of your gift from Stripe, but never your full card number.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date.
